The program was great!!! I love watching children at this age!!! We have the ones that hate attention, the ones who want all the attention, and the ones who could take it or leave it ( this one is Brooklyn) She did such a great job and knew all her ABC's and her Spanish!!! Spanish is one of her favorites and she is learning it so well!! It is hard to believe that she will be in K-4 next year!!! WOW....how time goes bye!!! =)

My new favorite things!!!! I love these reusable bags!!! They are great and you can fit sooo much in them!!! Well worth the $1!!!!! Plus it is better than plastic!!! Wal-mart has these bags too, but I like Meijer's bags better. They stand up on there own!!!

My new washer and dryer!!! I LOVE them!!!! Jason, thanks sooooo much!!! I love you very much!!!

Now we have to paint the laundry room a tan color to match our washer and dryer!!! I think it is to dark in there now!!!

As everyone knows Brook is a picky eater, but as she is getting older things are getting better!! She loves her fruits and veggies. Her favorite veggies are corn, green beans, pea pods, and carrots. Her favorite fruits are strawberries, raspberries, apples, and bananas. She still is not big on meat unless it is chicken nuggets, hot dogs or some lunch meat!!! I guess I can't complain to much....at least she loves her fruits and veggies!!! lol Of course she still loves her sweets, but we are very careful on how much she gets!!!

Brooklyn loves to ride on the Bobcat with Grandpa!!! I think it is her favorite thing to do right now!! It is funny how she stills loves tractors. lol Her and Grandpa could be outside all day playing on the Bobcat!!! lol She sure does love to help her Grandpa. =)

My Baby is Growing up.....

This crazy girl is Graduating from Preschool on May 23rd at 9:30am!! She is so excited about her graduation. She has talked about her graduation all week and keeps asking if today is the day she graduates. lol It is hard to believe she is going to be in K-4 this fall!!! She is so excited!!! She has done a great job in school!!! Mrs Rose is a great teacher and she has learned so much from her this year. It is fun to watch her learn and be excited about learning!!!

In Memory of Duke

For those of you who may not have heard, we had to put Duke down yesterday. He had been sick off and on since we got him a week ago, but had gotten progressively worse on Monday. When I came home from work Monday night, Duke was very sick and very weak. Jay decided to take him in to the Animal Hospital in Flint (not a very good area) and see what they could figure out.

Long story short, Duke tested positive for Parvo, which is a very fatal disease for dogs. Jason considered bringing him home and trying to spend the money and nurse him to health, but the vets didn't give us very good odds to make that happen. Jay decided to put him to sleep and went to pay because he didn't really want to be there to see it. As he left, Duke jumped down and went right to Jason's leg and just looked at him. So Jay took him back in the examination room and held him as the vet administered the shot. Jay said it was very peaceful for the dog, and after he was gone Jay laid him down on the examination table, closed his eyes and covered him up. It has been a very traumatic experience for everyone except for Brooklyn......who believes that Duke is in Heaven with Jesus playing catch!!!! =)

We cannot get a dog for 6 months because the virus could still be lingering around and that would be dangerous for a puppy. Additionally, we are praying that Maggie doesn't get sick. The vet said it is possible that Maggie could get it, but because she has had her shots and she is a little older she will hopefully be okay.

We still have Maggie Sue and they love to play with each other!!! I have been asking Jay for another dog for months because he travels so much and I wanted a BIG dog to protect me. lol I think this dog will just lick them to death!!! lol
WE are ready to Jay to come home!!! We love you all very much!!! =)
