Brooklyn got her first birthday surprise in the mail yesterday.
She was so excited....she just loves to get something in the mail!!!

New Pictures of the Boys!!!

They are getting so BIG!!!

The social worker told us that things are moving along and hopefully we will have this adoption done with soon!! =) Yippee!!! The judge that has our case is a great judge (this is what we are told) and like to move quickly with adoption. LOL....Nothing has MOVED QUICKLY in this adoption process.....I am seriously am laughing out loud at this moment!!! =)

We sure hope things will move quickly so we can start living our family of five!!! More updates to come,but I have to run (well, I hate running so I will drive myself to work) or I will be late for work. =)

Wordless Wednesday

Snow Snow and more Snow!!!!

We got 10.5 inches of snow. Some parts of the yard measured up to a foot of snow!!!
It sure looks pretty, but was it cold outside!!!

That is a lot of snow covering our cars!!

Thank goodness for our snow blower. The snow in the drive way measured up to a foot!!!!

Brooklyn sure does love to play in the snow, but I would rather be on the beach listening to waves and soaking up some sunshine!!

Look Who Lost Her First Tooth......

Today we went to see the dentist because she said that her front tooth was hurting. I am really glad we did because she ended up having a really bad infection in her tooth. So......Dr. Blake said we needed to help that tooth come out!!!! That is right.....she had her first tooth extraction today. The Dr. told her that the tooth fairy gives extra money for teeth that had to be pulled out!!! Brooklyn like the sound of that!!! lol Of course, I was thinking the same thing. =) Brooklyn sure did a GREAT job. She never cried, never moved and she never said it hurts!!! Our God is awesome!! Our dentist is awesome!! Our baby girl is awesome!!!

I know this video has nothing to do with her teeth, but I thought that everyone would like to see a video of her scoring a basket in her game!!! She is doing really really well in basketball and she really loves it!!! =)

We got a letter from our social worker the other day!!! Julie (our social worker) told us that things are moving quickly and we have nothing more to do then to WAIT!!!!! Haven't we waited more then enough.......I want them now!!! =) Julie did say that we are looking to go get them sometime in April or May of this year!!!! This makes us very happy!!!

Brooklyn is getting very excited about having her brothers home and to have someone play with her. =) Brooklyn said, that Aunt Vicki better be ready for her and her brothers to come a push her in the pool! =) I am not sure how she comes up with things like this. She makes us laugh all the time!!! =) She is such a JOY to Jay and I.

We are getting the boys room ready. It is a s...l...o...w process but, it is getting done!!! We have the paint picked out for the room and now just have to buy the paint and then paint the walls ( which I HATE painting.) We do have to beds and all the decor already and waiting to go up on the walls. I will post new pictures of the room when we get closer to being done!!

Thank you all for praying and for us and for the boys!!! God is amazing and He truly can MOVE MOUNTAINS!!! Praise God for that!!!

Brooklyn's First Basketball Game

This is Brooklyn's first year playing basketball and she is doing great. Her first game she scored 1 basketbal and her second game she scored 3 baskets......I can't wait to hear how she does tomorrow. =) I can not wait for soccer to start this spring....she loves the game of soccer and I love to watch her play. She runs with such determination on her face!! I love it!! =)

Playing in the Snow

Helping Daddy clear the snow from the drive way!!! We sure have used our snow blower a lot in the pass years!! What a great investment to have!!! =)

We really haven't had that much snow this winter (which is fine with me), but Brooklyn still has fun playing outside.....to cold for me. I am ready for the warm weather and sunshine!!! =)

Things are looking up on the adoption front.....

Lost in all the craziness of our December was the fact that we have been updating all of our adoption documents to prepare them for the court process in Taiwan. After about 2 months of updating almost everything, Jason was able to send our updated documents out on December 19th. This week, we received notification that all of our documents have been submitted to the courts in Taiwan and that is the last step before we go pick up the boys! Now, the documents have to go through the entire court process and then we will be given a travel date. We are guarded, but from what we are being told we will be traveling in a couple months to complete this crazy process we call international adoption! These are the pictures that we were given today, and we are so excited to see how our boys have grown. We could easily focus on the mess that this whole process has been, and how we have missed over a year of their lives for no reason. Instead, we choose to rest in God because we know He has a plan. And if/when we can get our precious boys home, we will have the rest of their lives to enjoy them.

Brooklyn got 2 new DS games from Santa. She was super excited about them. (I was a little excited too. I love the Mario DS Party lol)
