The End is Near!!!

Levi
Landon

Dear Julie,

I have good news for the family. We got the Civil ruling decree!!!!! We have also made AIT appointment on June 11.
Hopefully, the family will come a couple of days earlier before AIT interview. We will suggest the family visit two boys at Jonah House for 2-3 days before they take them to hotel and then stay in Taiwan for at least 7 days in total. It is not easy for children at their age and we hope that the moving transition will be smoothly with gradual separation. Tomorrow, we will have a seminar soon and will discuss the detail picking up procedure for the brothers.

The two children do not attend school, they will be available for Skype visit with the family if the Wheteheads would like to. Please advise what weekdays they would like to set up the skype visit. Our skype address: jonah house

Their follow up reports will be following with the next e-mails.

More Adoption Update....

Well...the court date (over in Taiwan) went as planed. We received an email telling us that everything went great and that we should hear something in 2-3 weeks (so be looking for another update in about 2-3 weeks.) This is when we should get a "travel call dates." We are so excited to bring our boys home and to be done with this process. It has been a LONG road, but God has been there to move all those crazy mountains from this adoption. We are just praising God for His continues love He has shown us and for helping us finish this adption. We thank God for such wonderful Family and Friends. We could not have gotten through this adoption without your love, support and prayers.
Sorry we don't have any more updates then that. Hopefully we will soon. =)
Right now we are just busy, busy, busy getting everything done for us to be ready to leave.

We are hoping and praying that this is the last package we will be sending to the boys.

I will be sending it out in the mail on Friday.
What is not pictured is the scrap book that has updated pictures of grandparents, Jason, Brooklyn and me (of course=)

Email: From Julie

The court date for April 19th is the final hearing for your adoption. Then it is a 4-6 week for the process to go through and to get our travel date.
YOUR BOYS WILL BE HOME THIS SUMMER!!!

We are so excited and nervous, but most of all we are READY TO BE DONE!!!
WE are praise God for the mountain he has moved for us to be able to bring our boys home.

The Light at the End of the Tunnel is getting BRIGHTER!!!!

One of the first pictures we got of Levi!!!
One of the first pictures we got of Noah!!!!

We got a letter from our social worker the other day!!! Julie (our social worker) told us that things are moving quickly and we have nothing more to do then to WAIT!!!!! Haven't we waited more then enough.......I want them now!!! =) Julie did say that we are looking to go get them sometime in April or May of this year!!!! This makes us very happy!!!

Brooklyn is getting very excited about having her brothers home and to have someone play with her. =) Brooklyn said, that Aunt Vicki better be ready for her and her brothers to come a push her in the pool! =) I am not sure how she comes up with things like this. She makes us laugh all the time!!! =) She is such a JOY to Jay and I.

We are getting the boys room ready. It is a s...l...o...w process but, it is getting done!!! We have the paint picked out for the room and now just have to buy the paint and then paint the walls ( which I HATE painting.) We do have to beds and all the decor already and waiting to go up on the walls. I will post new pictures of the room when we get closer to being done!!

Thank you all for praying and for us and for the boys!!! God is amazing and He truly can MOVE MOUNTAINS!!! Praise God for that!!!

Well, I have a little girl that needs me to come a cuddle with her. She is not feeling well today!!! =(

Things are looking up on the adoption front.....

Our sweet little boy, Noah

Our sweet little man, Levi

Lost in all the craziness of our December was the fact that we have been updating all of our adoption documents to prepare them for the court process in Taiwan. After about 2 months of updating almost everything, Jason was able to send our updated documents out on December 19th. This week, we received notification that all of our documents have been submitted to the courts in Taiwan and that is the last step before we go pick up the boys! Now, the documents have to go through the entire court process and then we will be given a travel date. We are guarded, but from what we are being told we will be traveling in a couple months to complete this crazy process we call international adoption! These are the pictures that we were given today, and we are so excited to see how our boys have grown. We could easily focus on the mess that this whole process has been, and how we have missed over a year of their lives for no reason. Instead, we choose to rest in God because we know He has a plan. And if/when we can get our precious boys home, we will have the rest of their lives to enjoy them.

"But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day." Habakkuk 2:3

Adoption Update....

Jay and I wanted to provide all of you an update on where we are at in regards to our adoption process.

About two weeks ago, we received medical information on a little 3 year old boy from Taiwan that we had been considering. He is the little boy with the hearing aids that we may have mentioned to some of you in past conversations. Anyways, we received all of his medical information and decided we were not able to proceed with him, as some of his medical challenges were just too much for us to consider at this time.

Now Jay and I continue to wait on the sibling group that we have expressed interest in from Taiwan. The mother is still missing (and presumed dead) and they are still gathering information on the girl that was removed from the house. Basically, Jay and I are waiting for updated medical and videos on all of the children before we make a decision on what to do. We do have a lot of interest, but we must have 100% peace about everything before we embark on this type of adoption adventure. More to come on this.

Jay has also been working on another program for us to consider if Taiwan does not work out. It is looking like Ethiopia is a country that we would consider adopting from. Jay received some pictures of a little boy today that they would like us to consider. The Ethiopia program is not close to happening for us, as we are committed to seeing what happens in Taiwan...but it is something we are going to consider.

I have to be honest...this has been LONG process...and it is not over yet. However, we both have a very good peace about our journey, and we look forward to seeing it through.

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts for this long adoption process!!!

**Good things come to those who WAIT!!!!!**
