Well, today was a success!!! She had a great time learning and got a 100% on her first paper!! She was super happy about that. =) Her teacher said she did a great job today and can't wait to see her on Wednesday which is "Circus Day." Should be lots of fun!!!

A Note From Her Teacher!!!!

Brooklyn got a letter from her teacher yesterday in the mail!!! She was so excited and now she is even more excited about her open house tomorrow!! She is definitely ready for school to start on Monday!!!! =) She told us that she needed a break from Mom and Dad!!! She makes us laugh so hard with the things she says!!

Fun night with Mommy!!

Brooklyn and I off for a night of shopping and some other fun activities. We are having a girls night out since Jason has to work late to night!!

We LOVE Hobby Lobby. We went to get stuff to make some special Christmas things, but we can't tell!!! =)

Has you can tell we had to have a wardrobe change. We had a little problem with our Cherry Slurpee. =) Thank goodness Target had some great clearance on summer clothes!!

Brooklyn loved this "BIG" corn on the cob. She thought Grandma needed this!!

And of course we could not go to Hobby Lobby without going to Toys-R-Us!!! We love that store and it is right next to Hobby Lobby!! =)

We had a great time to night. I love my little girl and she is the best!! Thank you God for giving me such a little blessing....Brooklyn Sophia!! =)

Brooklyn LOVES to swim!!!

Well, in a couple of weeks the Brooklyn goes back to school and she is really excited to go!! =) I am excited for her, but will miss my time with her!! =) I can't believe that Brooklyn is going to be in Kindergarten!! She is getting so big!!! We did a lot of her school shopping last week and now just need to pick up a couple more things and we will be done. We had lots of fun shopping together. She loves shopping for shoes, clothes, and anything that I will let her help with. She was very excited when I let her pick out her own outfits and tennis shoes!! She did a great job and got most of the stuff she wanted!! =)

It is hard to believe that SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER, but I am getting ready for pumpkin weather!! I love FALL.....it is my favorite time of the year!! I really don't want it to get cold, but I do love my pumpkins!! =)

Bye Bye Birdie...

We notice that our dryer wasn't working very well the other day. Then our neighbor came over and told Jay that he saw a bird fly up into our dryer vent! So, Jason went down to the basement and started taking our dry vent apart and this is what we found!!!

Finally....we found all the lint (thank goodness a fire never started with all that lint) that was stuck in the pipes, but no birds nest yet!!!

Finally....The birds nest!!! The vent was completely closed.

Here it comes the nest and it was a big one!!!!!

WOW,,,, 5 eggs in the nest, but of course they weren't alive. We thought that was sad! I think it was just to hot for them in the dryer vent.

Thank goodness our neighbor told us about the bird and for my handy man of a husband!!! =)

Myrtle BeachOf course we would find the only Christmas store in town!!! Oh, and we did buy an ornament to help us remember our wonderful trip to Myrtle Beach!!

What a great place to stay!!

I love Palm Trees....Someday I would love to have Palm Trees in my yard!!!I think I need a pool just about this size!! It was wonderful!! lol Got to love the hammocks....nothing better then laying in a hammock and listening to the Ocean!!

We are so thankful for being able to take a family vacation to such a wonderful place. God knew just what we needed and he gave it to us....We were truly blessed!!! I think we might even go back next year. It is a beautiful place.
